On September 27, 2019 Dr. Oyola was honored at the Health & Medicine Policy Research Group's Awards Gala at the Chicago Cultural Center.
Dr. Oyola received the Medicine Award for helping to broaden the appeal and awareness of holistic integrative medicine and for her work to heal Chicago's underserved communities through her work as a doctor, teacher, and advocate.
